Google Chrome、Firefox の設定の保存場所

この記事は自分用の覚書です。

WindowsXP のパソコンから、Windows8 のパソコンへ変える際に、Google Chrome と Firefox のブックマークやユーザー設定なども移行するには次のフォルダ内のデータをコピーして、移行先のパソコンの同じ場所に上書きする。

■Google Chrome （バージョン 25.0.1364.172m）の設定（プロファイル）
・WindowsXP Pro
C:\Documents and Settings\ユーザー名\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data

・Windows8 Pro
C:\Users\ユーザー名\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data

■Firefox （ 19.0.2 ）の設定
・WindowsXP Pro
C:\Documents and Settings\ユーザー名\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default

・Windows8 Pro
C:\Users\ユーザー名\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default

* xxxxxxxx の部分は一定ではない。df16aq1n のようなアルファベットと数字が交じった8文字が並ぶ。
